It’s time yet again for another installment of “Duhhh” – the hard-hitting expose of all things presented in the name of ‘Internet journalism’ – and a defense of common sense.
Being heavily reported now is the release of 7 WWE employees including Mickie James. Thing is, it went from there. had they stopped with news – simply reporting the fact, and moving on – I wouldn’t be jumping on PWInsider right now. However, in classic form, we now get to read “The real reason Mickie was fired.”
You see, it seems those bastions of fact and literary pulchritude – AKA “Sources” – have told PWI (Discretely of course) that Mickie “should have been more professional in her dealings with WWE.” Anyone that knows Mickie sees immediately the BS in that statement – this is a person who goes above and beyond to do her level best every single show – and beyond. It’s been that way since her Indy days. Of course – there’s another “Sources” who is pushing the Weight issue as the cause.
But this makes me wonder – is “Sources” so jealous that they have to point at someone’s figure? I mean, really now, “Sources” – how much do YOU weigh? Something tells me you’re either larger than me (And I’m no middleweight), or you’re so rail thin that you make supermodels look well fed. Please, take a clue on professionalism from Mickie herself:

Thanks, Mickie/Alexis – that’s all we need to hear – the real fans anyway.
She wasn’t the only release however – and let’s be real here. Once you aren’t getting a push, when there’s nothing on the sheet for you – there’s always a chance you’re about to go. All the talent in the world doesn’t mean you’re untouchable, as Shelton Benjamin found out. Thing is, the world keeps moving for them – and the cream always rises to the top. if they are that good – and some of them are – they will be back, if not the WWE then TNA – thank goodness we have a Monday Night War again.
Here’s another tidbit – “the Miz makes a huge mistake!” First off – this is news? Second – thanks ever so much for pointing it out “One who shall remain nameless for their safety” – now Miz will gain Twitter followers who are just waiting for the NEXT time he tweets his number.
