Richard Finlay was a troubled youth who had made some mistakes in life, but my family was doing it’s best to help this young man achieve a measure of self reliance and pride. He was engaged to my Niece Annalicia, and had taken her son as his own. In all ways, we were proud that he was trying to remake himself into a functional member of society.

On June 19th, Richard Finlay was struck & killed by a truck near our home in Las Vegas. Sadly, my niece and nephew were eyewitnesses to the tragedy that took away their friend & family.

Unfortunately due to the Economic crisis we are in, his family lacks the funds to pay for Richard’s burial costs. We in his “2nd family” are doing what we can, but we also can’t afford the full costs of taking care of this man who was struck down in his prime.

I ask that anyone who can afford a few dollars to please Donate to a fund to help us treat him in death far better than he was treated in life.
